Tiring Day Man

It was time to present on what we had done over the past few days. My heart missed a beat upon reaching THE DAY. We were first to present as Yi Chuin had to leave for Malaysia for Chinese New Year. Basically we were told that the presentation would be graded for the organisation and planning.

Lecturer Wahidah also told us this is the time to show off what our strengths are and to put it all in this production. After being told of what things to be included in the power point slides, we were then given time to discuss on what we should do for the presentation. The worst thing was one of my group member wasn't here. In fact, he was late for two hours.

We basically felt that we should redo our storyboard as it was kind of small. So Yi Chuin and Ting Yu did another storyboard but this time it was pretty large and precise as well. While both of them were drawing, Aaron went to edit the trial of the introduction in the 3d animation room. I was also there to assist him. After doing both the video editing and storyboard, we quickly rushed to Aaron's house and proceed in thinking what to include in the power point slides. I wasn't too sure myself how the sequence should be placed. However, we tried our best and managed to even do more than 20 slides.

—Hope to convey to our target audience that MOI is a fun( through the process of doing the assignments) and challenging (upon fighting time to complete the requirements) course.
—Convince students that this course is the right choice for them
—Let them have a feel of satisfaction and leave an impression on them
Introduction
—Logo appears, Aaron roars, and logo fades.
—Lots of blocks, which are resized videos will stack up to form the letters MOI.
—Zoom into a video, which will show people at a computer. On the screen will be a door.
—Click on the door and it will lead to the journey, roughly shown in our video.
Trial Run For Introduction
Introduction -2-
—Proceed to introduce all the members in the group.
—Introduction ends when Yi Chuin flips a page in a book, and we zoom into the picture on that page.
Content
—Zooming into a video, where a previous group will finish up on their Communicating Design Ideas Presentation.
—Aaron will then present on drawing essentials.
—When Mr. Ronald (K.I.V) is teaching, will be focusing onto one student’s sketchbook.
Content -2-
—He will be flipping through his sketchbook. Flip to the end, which will have Vivien’s face.
—Zoom into face, zoom out to Vivien telling a story then explain creative storytelling.
—She will then link it to Ideation and explain about ideation.
Mind map
Content -3-
—From there, she will link it to 3d Fund.
—Others will show their work as well.
—Zoom out of to a photograph on someone’s 3d portfolio.
—Ting Yu will put down the portfolio, and turn to a computer, which shows photoshop.
Content -4-
—She will then show off her skill and then Yi Chuin will discuss with her about Digital Media Fund.
— Yi Chuin will then take a photo of Ting Yu.
—She will then be shown, holding the photo, putting it down, and picking up another pile of photos.
—She will flip through the photos, depicting someone running.
Content -5-
—The pictures will be consecutive, and show a person running, it will then become video, and show Ting Yu running to class.
—She will run to Video Fund and sit down.
—Julian (K.I.V) will be explaining the use of storyboarding to the class.
—Zoom into the storyboarding, and the puppet on it will start running from frame to frame.
Conclusion
—The puppet will then stop in front of a screen and watch works done in Animation Fund.
—While she is watching, we will pan to the next frame, depicting 2D art.
—Zoom out to someone’s work (Uncertain) and then show case most of the pieces.
—Puppet will enter YC’s work and pull down credits.

—For introduction, we used a song that starts off giving an eerie feeling then becoming more lively upon introducing members
—For conclusion, we will use a song that is soothing to the ears but ending it off with a bang.
Problems faced
—Very tough to really meet up and discuss with all four members
—We also had different taste of music
—We also had different opinions
—Too many ideas, couldn’t really decide on one
—Too tough to execute
How we solved the problems
We went school early to discuss / even stay up late in school
Each members’ choice of music was contributed in the production
All vote on which idea was best or rather could be executed
If majority finds that an idea is too tough too execute, we just forgo that idea or maybe making it simpler

My group members, Yi Chuin was coughing badly and Ting Yu fell sick. I was really worried whether they could present tomorrow. It was already past twelve when we left Aaron's place. I was indeed very tired, i helped out in doing the power point slides till 3am which made me more drained out. Haha to be edited soon. As more information will be added on.
