| Today, we didn't have any lesson for our project one. Despite this, my group members used their time wisely and decided to meet up to discuss more in depth. This time, we were given more time to discuss as a group but without the lecturer's guidance. I met up with Aaron and Ting Yu to discuss more of our production. Yi Chuin couldn't make it as she was away in a trip to a museum. We then proceeded to the canteen to have our lunch and discussion as well. Aaron further elaborated what he said yesterday online and this time i was more clear and vary of what he meant. He was trying to imply that the clip would have usage of transitions, changing a location to another after a 'black screen' is shown, which i really find it impressive and interesting myself. We also further discussed on how we should do on our conclusion. For 2d fundamentals, we thought of animating Yi Chuin's wooden girl and then jumping in to the board and may show other people artworks as well. For the conclusion, we intended to focus back to Yi Chuin's wooden girl where she pull the screen down and credits would be shown. Ting Yu had initially suggested of maybe a cartoon character dancing on the left side of the credits. Aaron voiced out and said maybe it would be better if it is a puppet who is dancing instead. So we had yet to really finalise which conclusion we want it to be. Upon discussing finish, we decided to work on and draw a storyboard so that we can have a clearer picture of what we are doing and at the same time serving as a reference as well. Of course, Ting Yu was the one who did the storyboard. When drawing the frames, it not just acts as a recap but also as a visual tool for us to see. We even went to see the location that we would to film and Ting Yu drew the exact scene that we want. After a long walk, we were tired and needed some cold air. YUP!! You guessed it. We went to a air conditioned room which is the 3d animation room, where we saw Wendy, Andrea, Dion and even Jake there. " I booked that computer" Aaron said with a childish face. *his face looks childish okie, maybe not.. like a monkey instead* As our heavy butts weighing about 45kg, settled down on the surface of the chair, i could smell a lovely fresh smell. Opps.. back on track.. We continued doing the storyboard and Ting Yu showed us some songs that she thought would be suitable for the introduction. We were not really sure which song would be suitable though. I was actually thinking of using the roller coaster sound at the beginning and even intend to use paprika song as maybe a reference. However, i felt it would be best if i could compose a song for the introduction instead. And so there it was, i am now in the midst of trying to get some inspiration. Not forgetting that after i left the 3d room around 3.15pm, Aaron and Ting Yu were still doing the storyboards and they stopped at the 39th frame, which i really appreciated their hard effort being put in for this project. One thing for sure, my brain was playing tricks with me. After my history, design and cultural class, i went to ITAS with Rina to have my dinner. One thing i felt embarrassed today was when i actually ordered milk tea from an italian pizza stall. It seriously goes to show that if you have little sleep, your brain will not function effectively and may even affect on how u think. So one advice to give, sleep and rest well. Don't over stress yourself, our health still matters. Guess what.. i think my brain is not thinking straight le.. have to compose song tomorrow then. ahha.. NITES.. to myself and everyone |
