Productive Day indeed

The first thing that came to my mind was to print my blogs. Gosh~! After completing printing them, i was actually shocked to see 64 pages ,where i paid $25 just for them. * Heart aches * I rushed to hand it up to Lecturer Wahidah. [ Really hopes she wouldn't find it boring ]

I must say that today was indeed a productive day. Yi Chuin was so happy that she even announced to the whole of our group members :" Don't you feel happy? " Guess what was our reply... " YES~!! "

Let me tell you the secret why Yi Chuin was so happy. She was so satisfied with my performance. HAHA.. Okie maybe not, just my wishful thinking. She was just happy that we started the content.

No doubt that i only managed to get two hours of precious sleep, i was very happy that it didn't drain out my energy completely. In fact, i still had the energy to laugh when it was my scene to be filmed. We went into the ideation room earlier than what we had expected and at the same time waiting for Mr. Alan to appear to help us with the film. From there, we tried and tested which angles would best be portrayed out so that once Mr. Alan comes, we would be ready and just start filming. Time passes and passed the time where we were supposed to start the film.

Yi Chuin was so frantic, that she searched high and low for him. At last, he was called upon and entered into the ideation room. So basically, what Mr. Alan would do was just to comment on my Character Design assignment and asked me to placed it along with the others. As for me, i had to grab hold of the camera, facing it to me and adjust the camera abit. If you were to notice, this part had changed.

Remember in my previous blog, i said i would grab the camera from the bottom but this time round, i already placed my hand onto the camera and just move it to the front of my face. Following next, i would just talk towards the camera. I did try memorising my lines. However, when i looked into the camera, some of my lines which were supposed to be said, was immediately forgotten. I must say, it was really tough having to speak facing directly to the camera. So what my clever group mates suggested, was to write down my lines onto a piece of paper, placing it directly above the camera. The splendid thing was, it couldn't be seen that i was actually reading from the script. Way to go group mates for thinking this idea. Ta Daahh.. The scene came out smoothly and everyone was pleased with my so- called acting.

To Mr. Alan: Thanks for the help given man. It was greatly appreciated.
To Group members: Yipee~! One scene down, how many more to go?

The next scene that we took was the part when the puppet flew past the 2d works. We skipped and headed to this scene as it was told that we had to place the 2d artworks back to level five, latest by tomorrow noon. So no time to lose and there it was, we decided to take this shot. Aaron showed us how the camera would be moving and what to capture. Since many art works had already been placed up, we took and have to place the reminding art works side by side. Man! It was heavy. Anyway, when Ting Yu was holding the camera and running past the art works, i found it jerky and at the same time similar to 'Clover Field' the movie which was abit dizzy as well. Though this, an idea struck my head. "Why don't we use the trolley?" i said to my group members. Wow!! I can tell you man. When Ting Yu used the trolley, the effect was different. It was exactly the feeling i wanted it to be. PERFECTO~!! This is an image of Ting Yu playing with the trolley i guess:

Oh ya, not forgetting that after taking that scene, i actually pushed Ting Yu where she sits on the trolley and what she is going to say next touches me. She said i can be a roller coaster executive or even be in charge of the design of roller roaster. Thanks Ting Yu. Oh ya.. Want to see how Ting Yu is being pushed when she films?

Here is the actual video of it:

Oh my god, i almost forgot to mention. I was really impressed that Aaron's idea was brilliant. As we had to move/ shake one of the art work when the puppet bounced on it, Aaron could actually find a long string and tied it along the handles where Yi Chuin could just pull it. Haha... The funny part was when Aaron asked me to find strings, i took Ting Yu's shoelaces instead. Resulting to Ting Yu doing the scene and filming bare footed with only her socks on. After these two scenes were done, we were actually very satisfied with it and proceeded to go back to the MOI production room, taking photos of ourselves as a form of releasing stress. But the sad thing was when i actually took alot of images of the fun times that our group had, Aaron just deleted it. Arghh..But anyway, no doubt that the entire process and filming was tiring but it was great fun and was definitely worth it.

At six in the evening, i went to attend the SA meeting in the Comdi room on level three while Yi Chuin was at the bench drawing out how the puppet would look like. She actually drew and drew and thought of making the puppet chibilised which i find it to be cute. Great work man. Keep up the good work. This was the puppet that she drew:

Not forgetting, that she also voiced out saying that i wrote her script too long and would want to shorten the script herself. Haha.. and also on the sketch book where the last page would be torn off. Hehex.. comments she said could be seen in Yi Chuin's blog. True enough, everything was settled and we headed back home. And i, of course continue and lay down on my bed. Cheers on. Will get to sleep now.

[Reminder to Group members- Please remember your scripts as we are filming Mr. Ronald and Mr. Julian tomorrow.]

Best of Lucks
