A Moody Day - Indeed

Didn't know why but it seems to me that today was called THE MOODY DAY. Here is how the story unfolds:

The day begins as smooth as a baby's bottom. After my MM Fund lesson ended, i headed off to the 2d animation room where i saw Yi Chuin ( one of my group members ). We decided or rather our mindset totally just sank to the thought of filming the flipping images of Ting Yu. Both Ting Yu and Aaron were not present then. Yi Chuin and I tried to think of a solution as to how we are able to make the video into images instead. I also gave suggestions as to how to film the flipping pages. Indeed, we faced some problems having to import the video into flash. Mr. Ronald and some of our seniors helped out and it was a success.

To Mr. Ronald and Seniors: Thanks for your help. It was appreciated.

Now, we were thinking how do we film the images when it is flipped.
Mr. Ronald was at the scene and even helped us. He drew some examples onto the video where the page would flip. [ err.. E.g. he drew the page with an opening ]. Upon seeing that, both Yi chuin and I agreed that it was a fantastic idea but not forgetting that it would surely take alot of our time having to draw the flipping pages. So we are still in consideration about this idea.

To Mr. Ronald: Thanks for your help once again

Slowly, Ting Yu and Aaron soon arrived. We told them our suggestions. Now the problem was which images to select as we decided to flip the real image as in to print it out. Ting Yu, being good as to see the sequence, she selected the images that we needed to print out and Aaron assisted her. After the selection of the images, both Yi Chuin and I headed down to print the selected images. I volunteered to cut the images and seeing another scissors; I think if another person would to help me cut, it would definitely speed up the process.

But seeing both Ting Yu and Aaron playing games again, i handed the scissors to Yi Chuin and indeed- it sped the process, which i am thankful about. However, after cutting the images, we decided to film where Yi Chuin would talk about both 2d and 3d animation.
Thank God... Finally, the 3d animation room was available.

When we arrived there, i believe Aaron was kind of getting tired and slept on the table while the rest of us proceeded to film Yi Chuin. Both Yi Chuin and I felt that Aaron was feeling moody due to the fact that he wasn't talking much which wasn't like his usual self. Anyway, things took to a nasty turn, when it was Ting Yu's turn to become moody. This time i really meant moody, as her actions were quite obvious. But first, we headed down to the 'MOI' project 1 room where we saw Andrea and Angie. They were designing their character.

Not wanting to waste time, we film the part where the photos were to be displayed onto the tables. After that we set off to KFC. This was when the 'Moody' atmosphere came in. While we were walking towards KFC, both Aaron and Ting Yu were walking super fast and way in front of Yi Chuin and I. While we were eating, Ting Yu was super quiet. We asked her why she was quiet and she replied : " I am always quiet. " and there it was, we knew that something was wrong. I mean it was quite obvious anyway. I was thinking whether it was my fault as i had asked her to eat and both Yi Chuin and Aaron were surprised that we were eating instead of 'eating it out'.

This time, when we headed back to the 'MOI' project 1 room, Ting Yu actually drew some images onto the white board which depicts loneliness. She even cried in the toilet i believe, as i noticed that her eyes were red. The atmosphere back then was indeed weird. We went to the 2d animation room and saw Sholleh there- all ALONE by himself. Anyway, we filmed the part of the door for the introduction, where we took a long shot, then closer one, then to the closest one. I asked permission of David whom was there doing his work that whether i could turn of the lights. Haha.. I am not sure why they needed the room to be so dark that Aaron even asked Yi Chuin and Sholleh to use the boards and cover the small window on the doors.

Man! It was damn dark.

Sholleh even used the boards and fan all of us. I must say that time i really felt like a model. Thanks alot Sholleh. Haha.. There it was, the security guard asked us to leave again. So therefore, we had to part.

Oh ya, the ANSWER to Yi Chuin's doubt: We make the door open so as we can transit it to the flowy journey. Lol..

Yi chuin later told me that she wasn't really satisfied with her take due to the lighting issues so we may have to re shoot it again..

[ Extra Noose- Ting Yu also drew an image in flash of a big rabbit all alone and several other rabbits gathering around at a corner - depicting her feeling today ]

Hmm.. I was wondering why she felt this way. Even Yi Chuin was wondering why as she was moody out of the blue. Anyway, Yi Chuin opened up to me; saying that she was interested in photography as well- depending on what types of photos she will be taking.

A thought that came to my mind- I need to improve on my drawing man.. I think i depend alot on references. It's high time, i have to draw with my imagination and thinking..

So to end this moody blog, i really hope we all will not be moody again as it will really affect the whole production and scenes as well.

[To Group members:
I hope everything will turn out well. Do hope that our emotions won't run us down.]

Take care Everyone
